Siddhanth Kapoor, the brother of Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor, has been summoned by the Mumbai Police's Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) in connection with a major drugs seizure case. The summons comes after his name emerged during the interrogation of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a key accused in a ₹252 crore mephedrone (MD) seizure case.

Kapoor's statement recording scheduled for November 25
Kapoor has been asked to appear before the ANC on November 25 (Tuesday) to record his statement. Meanwhile, social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has also been summoned again. He is scheduled to appear at the Ghatkopar unit of the ANC on November 26 (Wednesday) after failing to show up on November 20 and seeking more time.

Shaikh allegedly invited rave parties for celebrities
The names of both Kapoor and Orry came up during the questioning of Shaikh, who allegedly organized rave parties in India. Shaikh has reportedly named several Bollywood celebrities and politicians as attendees at these parties. These include actors Nora Fatehi, Shraddha, film producers Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loka, and Alishah Parkar, nephew of Dawood Ibrahim. Shaikh was deported from Dubai last month after being arrested in the ₹252 crore MD seizure case from Sangli, Maharashtra.

Kapoor's previous drug-related arrest and denial of involvement
This isn't the first time Kapoor has been linked to drug-related incidents. In June 2022, he was arrested in Bengaluru after testing positive for MDMA (ecstasy) and marijuana during a hotel party raid. He was booked under Sections 22A, 22B, and 27B of the NDPS Act, but later released on station bail as police argued it was a consumption case, not commercial trafficking.
