Acclaimed Indian singer Sonu Nigam has leased a commercial space in Santacruz East, Mumbai, for a whopping monthly rent of ₹19 Lakh. The deal was officially registered in December 2025, and the property is located at Trade Centre BKC. The unit reportedly spans over 4,257 square feet (nearly 395 square meters), and the agreement comes with a stamp duty of ₹3.27L and registration charges of ₹1,000. It also included a security deposit of ₹90L.

Nigam's rent will increase annually over 5 years
The rental agreement spans five years, with the first year's rent fixed at ₹19L. The second year's rent will increase by 5.26% to ₹20L, and from the second year onward, it will rise by a constant annual rate of 5%. This means that in the third year, the rent will be ₹21L, in the fourth year it will be ₹22.05L, and in the fifth year it will reach ₹23.15L.
