Sanai debuted with Mukherji's X=Prem and the album received widespread acclaim across the industry. While discussing his next tie-up with the filmmaker, Sanai revealed, "Srijit da has already booked two unreleased compositions for his upcoming projects." When inquired about the project details, Sanai did not divulge any details. Interestingly, Mukherji announced an untitled project with Shree Venkatesh Films recently.

The director has a packed 2024 with the Mrinal Sen biopic, Padatik lined up for a summer release. He also has the highly anticipated Tekka with Dev slated for Durga Puja release. Oti Uttam marked the "return" of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar on celluloid after four decades. The film has received mixed reviews from critics but thrives on nostalgia and a refreshing album by Sanai.
