Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, the stars of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), recently unveiled a life-size bronze statue of their characters Raj and Simran at London's Leicester Square. This historic event marked the 30th anniversary of Aditya Chopra's cult classic, which was released on October 20, 1995. DDLJ was Chopra's directorial debut, a project he spent three years developing. The statue is a part of the Scenes in the Square trail and is a first for an Indian film.
