What's the story

The 15th edition of the multidisciplinary creative festival, IFP, will be held at Mumbai's Mehboob Studios on November 29 and 30. The festival will feature a diverse lineup of celebrities from various fields, including film, design, music, writing, podcasting, photography, gaming, and tech. The event will host sessions with actors like Shahid Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, among others.

Film sessions

'Becoming Arjun' session with Abhishek Bachchan and Shoojit Sircar

The movie and streaming segment will feature several sessions, including "20 Questions: How I Made My First Feature" with filmmakers Aranya Sahay and Shazia Iqbal. Other sessions include "Being the Future of Indian Cinema" with actors Adarsh Gourav, Nitanshi Goel, Vishal Jethwa, and Zahan Kapoor; "Behind the Scene: I Am Not an Actor" with Siddiqui; and "Becoming Arjun," a conversation between actor Abhishek Bachchan and director Shoojit Sircar.

IFP 15 to explore culture, literature, and culinary arts

The culture segment of IFP 15 will feature discussions with creators and thinkers like Chirag Thakkar, Anurag Minus Verma, Ria Chopra, Zain Memon, and Anand Gandhi. The literature lineup features Joseph, Ravikant Kisana, Divya Prakash Dubey, Rakshanda Jalil, Akhil Katyal, and several others. Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar will present Food of the Future Past exploring culinary memories and forgotten recipes.

Signature event

IFP 15 to host 50 Hour Challenge award ceremonies

The festival will also hold the signature 50 Hour Challenge award ceremonies in filmmaking, design, music, writing, and photography, celebrating works created within a strict 50-hour deadline. Over its past editions, IFP has hosted over 1,400 speakers and attracted more than 1.2 lakh participants from around the world including Tom Schulman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Alexander Payne, and Mira Nair among others.
