Vvan was initially scheduled for a 2025 Chhath festival release. However, the makers later decided to push the release. Announcing the new release date for the highly anticipated drama, Malhotra earlier shared on social media, "The forest has whispered; the force will be unleashed on May 15, 2026. Get ready for the big-screen adventure." The folk-fantasy thriller is jointly produced by Balaji Telefilms and TVF Motion Pictures.
