Tamil actor Srikanth confesses to drug use
Tamil actor Srikanth has been arrested for allegedly buying cocaine, after a bar fight in Nungambakkam led police to uncover a drug supply chain involving T Prasad, a former AIADMK IT Wing member.
Supplier Pradeep Kumar pointed to Srikanth as a regular buyer, linking him directly to the case.

Srikanth admitted to using cocaine during the shoot of Theengarai, saying it was offered as a performance booster.
Police found cocaine at his home and confirmed drugs in his system through tests. Records show he made over 40 payments totaling ₹4.72 lakh for drugs.
He's been denied bail for now, with police still looking into possible wider links—including connections to Bengaluru and the film industry.
Meanwhile, Prasad faces multiple charges as authorities crack down on drug use in Tamil Nadu's entertainment scene.
