The Weeknd is now the highest-earning male solo artist ever
What's the story
The Weeknd aka Abel Tesfaye's After Hours Till Dawn tour has become the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist, raking in over $1 billion. The record-breaking achievement includes sales from his upcoming 2026 shows in Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and the UK. So far, the tour has sold more than 7.5 million tickets across 153 dates worldwide since its launch in 2022.
Tour success
The Weeknd's tour will continue in April
This achievement of surpassing the $1 billion mark is even more impressive considering that only two tours have grossed over $1 billion: Coldplay's Music of the Spheres ($1.39 billion) and Taylor Swift's Eras Tour ($2.2 billion). The next leg of After Hours Till Dawn will start on April 20 in Mexico City and will include stops in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, London, and Madrid.

Fans can also win a pair of free tickets for every date of the tour through Global Citizen.
