Did Vikrant Massey-Sheetal Thakur tie the knot on Valentine's Day?

Vikrant Massey is taken, people! As per reports, the Haseen Dillruba actor tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Sheetal Thakur on Valentine's Day. Though no confirmation has come from either of them, this is the second wedding in the tinseltown this year after actor Mouni Roy-investment banker/businessman Suraj Nambiar's nuptials that took place on January 27 in Goa. Congratulations to both the couples!
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Massey and Thakur had a registered marriage at their Versova home. "Vikrant and Sheetal opted for a registered marriage today at their Versova home. They had decided on this date a few days back. Their families are extremely happy," a source informed the portal. It was a close-knit affair, just like their engagement in 2019, added the source.
Last January, Massey had posted a photo online that showed a puja taking place inside a house. The caption read, "With my human-modak & better-half." Lest it gave rise to wedding rumors, he issued a clarification in the end that said, "PS: Not yet married. Please reserve your wishes." Notably, the couple recently moved into a sea-facing apartment, which will be their post-wedding home.
Massey's wedding to Thakur comes a week ahead of another upcoming wedding in Bollywood. On February 21, Farhan Aktar and Shibani Dandekar will have a court marriage after four years of dating. Earlier this month, Farhan's father, veteran poet/lyricist Javed Akhtar confirmed the wedding rumors and added that the ceremony will happen at Sukoon, the Akhtar's family home in Khandala.
"Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki jo taiyyariyan hain [preparations for the wedding] [are] being taken care of by wedding planners," Akhtar Sr. had said. The celebration would be "simple" given the pandemic condition. "We're only calling a few people. It'll be a very simple affair," he had added. Notably, this will be Farhan's second marriage and Shibani's first.
