#GameOfThrones: Actress playing Cersei reveals who cried most during finale
Game of Thrones is going to cement its place as one of the most important pop cultural occurrences when the popular HBO show airs its eighth and final season on April 14, 2019. Naturally, for the show's cast members, shooting the final season was emotional. Now, Lena Headey who plays Cersei Lannister, revealed the actor who cried the most during the finale. Read on.
Headey says show ending lives up to expectations
At the Sundance Film Festival, Headey was promoting Fighting With My Family, her upcoming film. Since she plays an important role in Game of Thrones, as Queen Cersei, she was asked about the upcoming final season by MTV News. While she joked about the show dragging on, saying 'It's boring now. Stop it', Headey also asserted the ending would live up to fans' expectations.
Headey also revealed who cried the most during the finale
When Headey was asked about her feelings after reading the final script, she replied how everyone got emotional saying goodbye to co-stars of 9 years during the read-through. However, Headey could not put into words how she felt. What she did reveal was that Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, cried the most. She topped it off by saying, "He's really overemotional".

Harington himself admitted to crying twice during the finale
Notably, Headey's revelation seems to confirm what we had already reported. While the final season was still being shot, Harington revealed that he had gone to the official script reading without going through the copy that had been sent to him beforehand. Thus, he was caught unawares at the official read-through and admitted to ending up crying twice, during and after the reading.
However, Headey might have been poking fun at Harington
While Headey's account of Harington crying the most seems to be corroborated by his own admission, there is a chance that she was poking fun at her co-star. Notably, it was revealed by Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, that the co-stars all liked to make fun of Harington, especially his hair, and often took "the piss out on him for that".
