3 men gang-rape woman in Bengaluru, 2 on run

On October 21, 2025, a 27-year-old woman from West Bengal was attacked in her rented home on the outskirts of Bengaluru by five men pretending to be police informers.
Three of the accused allegedly raped her, while the others assaulted her son and another man who was there.
The group also stole ₹25,000 and two phones before fleeing.

Police teams are on the hunt for the suspects

The victim's son managed to call the police, and police teams responded quickly.
Three suspects have already been arrested, while two are still on the run. The case is being handled by a senior officer with three special teams on it.
Thankfully, the victim is now receiving medical care and is out of danger.
Police have registered charges for gang rape, wrongful confinement, and robbery.
