AAIB awaits crucial flight data from US

After the tragic Air India Boeing 787 crash on June 12 that claimed nearly 270 lives, investigators are working fast to figure out what went wrong.
Critical flight data is being extracted in the US to make sure nothing gets lost, and Indian experts are there to help out.
The AAIB expects to have all the info by June 26, with work also happening on the cockpit voice recorder.

TL;DR

Investigators looking at maintenance errors, crew actions

Teams from India, the US, and UK—alongside Boeing and GE Aerospace—are digging into possible reasons for a rare twin-engine failure.
They're looking at things like maintenance errors or crew actions but say bird strikes likely weren't involved.
A first report should be out within a month, which will also help check if other Boeing 787s around the world are safe to fly.
