Air India crash: Co-pilot Clive Kunder's remains returned
First Officer Clive Kunder, co-pilot of the tragic Air India Flight AI171, has been brought back to his family in Mumbai.
His body will be at his Goregaon (West) home for people to pay their respects until 1pm before final rites at Sewri Christian Cemetery.
Kunder lived with his parents and younger sister.
Flight AI171 crashed on June 12
Flight AI171, headed from Ahmedabad to London, crashed just after takeoff on June 12.
All 242 people on board lost their lives, along with at least 29 more on the ground.
It's one of the worst air disasters in India's history.
Kunder had logged about 1,100 flying hours
Kunder had logged about 1,100 flying hours and worked alongside Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, who had over 8,000 hours in the cockpit.
His passing is a huge loss for both his family and everyone in aviation who knew him.
