Air India crash probe focuses on ram air turbine

After the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad, investigators are zeroing in on the Ram Air Turbine (RAT)—a backup power device that kicks in during emergencies.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, carrying 241 people, crashed just 30 seconds after take-off, reaching only 625 feet before going down.

Did power failure trigger the rat?

Experts are digging into flight data to see if a power failure or engine issue triggered the RAT and played a role in the accident.
The Air Accident Investigation Bureau is analyzing black box recordings to figure out exactly what went wrong and how future crashes can be prevented.
