The 38-day journey to the famous 3,880-meter-high cave shrine begins July 3, with two route options: a scenic 48km trek from Nunwan-Pahalgam or a quicker 14km stretch via Baltal.
More than 300 sadhus have signed up
Registration centers are open at Vaishnavi Dham, Panchayat Bhawan, and Mahajan Sabha, while tokens are available at Saraswati Dham.
Security is tight with a record 180 paramilitary companies deployed.
Over 1,600 pilgrims have already reached the Bhagwati Nagar base camp and more than 300 sadhus have signed up.
With over 50,000 beds ready along the route and preparations in full swing, the yatra will be officially flagged off by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on July 2.
