A customer with the Twitter handle @21century_kant asked Amazon Prime, on July 18, if there are any cashback offers for membership renewal. To this, the Twitter representative of Amazon Prime informed him that the introductory offer of Rs. 499/year has expired and now it will cost Rs. 999/year. This piece of information sort of hurt the customer and ensued the unusual conversation.
