Want Anand Mahindra's funds? Get creative like this cobbler
Thinking out of the box is the key for entrepreneurs who would like business tycoon Anand Mahindra to invest in their start-ups. No, we are not making this up. Mr. Mahindra himself tweeted about it after seeing the creativity of a cobbler. Tweeting an image he received on WhatsApp, Anand Mahindra wrote he would like to invest in the cobbler's business.
For starters, the cobbler calls himself a 'shoe-doctor'
In the picture, the cobbler can be spotted sitting outside 'zakhmi jooton ka haspatal' (Hospital for injured shoes). The banner clearly mentions his time of treating patients, viz, 9 AM to 1 PM, and 2 PM to 6 PM. 'Dr' Narsiram goes for lunch from 1 PM to 2 PM. Impressed by his uniqueness, Anand Mahindra tweeted the man should teach marketing at IIMs.

Separately, Mahindra wants to invest in home-grown social-networking website
A few days back, in the wake of Cambridge Analytica scandal that raised concerns about data privacy, Mahindra tweeted he would like to assist with seed capital to a home-grown social networking company. He even invited entrepreneurs to reach out to him. Days later, Mahindra tweeted he was overwhelmed by the number of responses he received and was certain of an explosion of entrepreneurial energies.
