Annual Amarnath Yatra commences from Baltal, Nunwan

The Amarnath Yatra has officially begun, as the first batch of pilgrims—men, women, and sadhus—set out at dawn from the Baltal and Nunwan camps toward the famous Himalayan cave shrine.
The journey started with everyone chanting "bum bum bole," capturing the excitement of this annual spiritual trek to the 3,880-meter-high ice-lingam.

Nearly 6,000 pilgrims flagged off from Jammu

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off nearly 6,000 pilgrims from Jammu on Wednesday.
When they arrived in Kashmir Valley, locals and officials greeted them enthusiastically.
With police forces, CRPF, ITBP teams, and aerial surveillance in place, authorities are making sure everyone stays safe during this 38-day pilgrimage that wraps up on August 9.
