Aurangabad woman plots husband's murder with uncle

In Aurangabad, Bihar, police have arrested Gunja Devi and her uncle Jeevan Singh for allegedly planning and carrying out the murder of Devi's husband, Priyanshu.
The two were reportedly in a relationship, but their families didn't approve—so after Priyanshu was forced into marriage with Devi, they plotted his killing.

Devi's attempt to leave village during investigation raised suspicion

Priyanshu was shot dead right after getting off at Navi Nagar station, where Devi had arranged his pickup.
Her attempt to leave the village during the investigation made police suspicious.
It turned out she and Singh were in close contact throughout—and Singh even reached out to hired shooters.
This case follows another similar incident in the district, raising concerns about rising violence within families.
