Ayodhya Ram Mandir to be closed for PM Modi's visit

India

Ayodhya's Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will be closed from the evening of November 24 to the morning of November 26 for a special flag hoisting.
On November 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will raise a saffron flag atop the temple's tallest spire—a first for all seven spires—marking a major ceremonial occasion for the temple.

Who will attend the ceremony?

The ceremony, set for Vivah Panchami with the main flag hoisting between 12:00 and 12:30pm and concluding by 2pm will see big names like PM Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, and CM Yogi Adityanath attending.
About 1,600 rooms have been arranged to accommodate guests, and darshan (temple visits) will resume at 7am on November 26.

Cultural celebration alongside religious event

Over 3,000 workers are busy prepping the city—decorating the temple and organizing cultural events like Ram Katha recitations and classical dance performances from November 21-25.
It's not just a religious event; it's shaping up to be a big cultural celebration too.
