Bengaluru weather: Rain expected through October 11; temperatures comfortable
Karnataka is in for steady rain through October 11, with cities like Bengaluru, Udupi, and Chikkamagaluru seeing regular showers.
The wet weather is thanks to low-pressure systems over south interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, and elevated air currents along the coast.
On the bright side, Bengaluru's temperatures are staying comfortable—around 30°C by day and dipping to 21°C at night.
Rainfall to help close city's monsoon deficit
Many districts—including Dakshina Kannada, Belgaum, Bangalore City and Rural, Chikkamagaluru, and Mysore—are getting hit with persistent rain and cloudy skies.
For Bengaluru especially, this could be good news: the city had a 12% rainfall deficit from June to September 2025.
While recent systems missed delivering much-needed rain here earlier this year, light to moderate showers are expected now—and heavier downpours after October 15 might finally help close that gap.
