BJP functionary arrested in Chennai criminal case

K.R. Venkatesan, who works with the BJP's OBC wing in Tamil Nadu, was arrested after a local businessman, Deepan Chakravarthy, accused him of blackmail and trying to extort a 10% cut to settle a business dispute. Police say Chakravarthy got suspicious and decided to file a complaint.
