'Mathematics paper was easy but lengthy': CBSE Class 12 students
The CBSE Class 12 exams have left students drained with lengthy question papers. The verdict was similar for today's Mathematics exam. Students agreed it was easy and questions were mostly from syllabus. There were no tricky questions either, they said. But it was lengthy. Many complained they had been unable to complete the whole paper. English was easy but lengthy too, candidates had said.
'More time would have helped solve more accurately'
The general consensus was that questions were student-friendly. "It was easier than last year," said Bahana Saikia (Guwahati). "Students who prepared well should be able to score well," said Shubham Aggarwal (Delhi). For Ahmer Uzair (Bhopal), "My coaching went waste because everything was within NCERT-syllabus." But it was too long. "If we had more time, it'd have helped solve accurately," said Shamal Dhawale (Nagpur).
'High probability of students achieving 100 marks'
Nitish Gupta (PGT Maths), Delhi, said the paper was a balanced one. "Around 60% questions are direct from NCERT textbook." "I don't think any paper could have been easier than this one," said Bina Pillai, Math teacher, Bhopal. "Some students might have found it difficult because they focus more on private publishers rather than NCERT textbooks," opined Sangeeta Yadav (PGT Maths), Bhopal.
