Chennai woman uses bomb threats for revenge
Reni Joshilda from Chennai was arrested after allegedly emailing at least 21 fake bomb threats to public places in 12 states—targets included big venues like Narendra Modi Stadium and schools.
Police say she did this to get back at Divij Prabhakar, a man she loved who married someone else earlier this year.
How she was tracked down
Joshilda, who works as a senior consultant at Deloitte and has a background in robotics, used fake email accounts and VPNs to cover her tracks.
She even impersonated Prabhakar in some emails and timed the threats around major events.
Despite her tech skills, a digital slip-up led police to her in Chennai.
Investigators also found she harassed women linked to Prabhakar and faked a marriage certificate with his name.
Now, police are checking if she had any help or is tied to other hoax threats as the probe continues.
