Clash erupts at ABVP-Yuva Morcha protest against minister Sivankutty
Things got heated in Kozhikode when ABVP and Yuva Morcha members protested against Kerala's Education Minister V. Sivankutty, accusing him of disrespecting a 'Bharat Mata' portrait.
The situation turned tense as protesters tried to block the minister's convoy, leading to police stepping in and arresting several people.
Minister blames RSS for trouble
BJP North Zone president P. Reghunath claimed police stood by while SFI and DYFI members attacked their activists, urging action against those involved.
On the other side, Sivankutty blamed RSS for stirring up trouble, pointing to past incidents like damage to his car's National Flag.
To top it off, a separate Fraternity Movement protest over Plus Two seats also clashed with SFI members—making it a pretty chaotic day on campus.
