Delhi braces for heavy rainfall, IMD issues alerts

India

Heads up, Delhi! The IMD has put out a yellow alert, expecting heavy rain in the city today.
Some areas already saw light showers last night, and you can expect cloudy skies with temps around 35°C.
So, maybe keep that umbrella handy if you're heading out.

Monsoon's serious business across India right now

The monsoon is getting serious across India—IMD says heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in Northwest India, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Konkan-Goa till June 26.
There's even an orange alert for several northeastern states and Uttar Pradesh.
On the bright side, Delhi's air quality is holding steady at a "satisfactory" AQI of 85 for the fifth day straight—so at least breathing easy isn't a problem right now!
