Delhi Crime Branch books Al-Falah University for cheating, forgery

India

Al-Falah University in Faridabad is in serious trouble after the Delhi Crime Branch filed two FIRs accusing it of cheating and faking its NAAC accreditation.
The university is accused of making false accreditation claims regarding its NAAC status.
These charges surfaced during the investigation into the November 10 Red Fort blast, which also led to the arrest of three doctors who taught at Al-Falah University.

Founder and companies under deeper investigation

The university's founder, Javed Ahmed Siddiqui, is also facing scrutiny over an old ₹7.5 crore fraud case involving fake companies and forged documents.
Now, nine businesses tied to Siddiqui and the Al-Falah Charitable Trust—spanning education, finance, software, and energy—are under probe as authorities dig into possible financial irregularities and more misrepresentation by the university.
