Delhi-Jaipur travel time reduced by new NHAI expressway

A brand-new 67km expressway spur is about to open, connecting Bandikui and Jaipur through the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
Once it's running (likely by mid-July), travel time between Delhi and Jaipur will drop from nearly four hours to just about three to 3.25 hours.
The road's ready—just waiting on final safety checks.

TL;DR

₹1,368 crore project

Built for ₹1,368 crore, this stretch lets you skip the usual NH-44 jams.
It features paved shoulders and controlled entry points for a smoother drive.
With a handy interchange at Bandikui, switching between the new spur and the main expressway should be seamless—and older routes should finally see less congestion.

Jaipur to be directly connected to Delhi-Agra expressway

NHAI isn't stopping here—they're also working on a new expressway linking Jaipur directly to the Delhi-Agra corridor.
That means even better connectivity across Rajasthan soon, making life easier whether you're road-tripping or hauling goods.
