Incident comes after racial abuse against women from Arunachal Pradesh

The incidents come after a recent case of racial abuse against three women from Arunachal Pradesh. The incident took place on February 20 when the women had called an electrician for air conditioning installation at their apartment. A dispute over falling debris from drilling work led to Harsh Singh and his wife, Ruby Jain, allegedly hurling racist slurs at the women, calling them "gutter-chaap" and telling them to "go and sell momos."
