Delhi: Student alleges he was beaten by tutor for homework

A 16-year-old student at a Delhi tuition center says his tutor, Anand Kumar, assaulted him for not finishing homework after a family trip.
The incident happened on October 6, and the student shared that he was pulled by the hair and hit with a stick.

Tutor booked, investigation underway

After feeling severe pain, the student told his parents, who took him to Safdarjung Hospital—doctors found bruises on his arm, calf, and back.
He filed a police complaint on October 9.
Authorities have now registered a case against the tutor for causing hurt and wrongful confinement; the investigation is ongoing.
