Doctor arrested following maternal, infant deaths in UP
A 25-year-old woman named Asma Khatoon and her newborn died at a private hospital in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, after what her family says was serious medical negligence. The family claims doctors demanded extra money and told them to arrange blood themselves. After surgery, they were assured everything was fine, but Khatoon's condition quickly got worse.
