An officer said the incident, which reportedly happened on January 9, was seemingly a result of material failure. "The soldiers fell on the ground after the boom broke off" while they were slithering down a Dhruv advanced light helicopter, he said. A probe has been ordered into the incident. Meanwhile, the drill has been cancelled for the Annual Day parade.
