Dumper truck falls from bridge onto railway tracks in UP
India
A scary moment unfolded in Barabanki, UP, when a dumper truck crashed off a bridge and landed on the railway tracks as the Garib Rath Superfast Express was passing on the adjacent line.
Thanks to some quick thinking by the train pilot, who hit the emergency brakes in time, everyone on board stayed safe and disaster was avoided.
Rescue teams acted fast, train services to resume soon
Rescue crews rushed over and used a gas cutter to free the trapped truck driver, who's now recovering in hospital.
The accident caused some delays while teams cleared debris and fixed up the damaged tracks.
Thankfully, apart from the driver's injuries, no one else was hurt—and authorities say trains will be running normally again soon.
