Flight with 160+ Kashmiri students arrives at IGI Airport

A flight carrying 256 Indian students—over 160 from Kashmir—landed safely in Delhi after they were stranded in Iran due to rising tensions.
The Jammu and Kashmir government arranged busses to take them home, finally easing days of worry for their families.

TL;DR

Iran opened its airspace just for this

This was part of Operation Sindhu, a big effort to bring back nearly 1,000 Indians stuck abroad.
Indian and Iranian officials worked together to move students from Tehran to Mashhad, then flew them out as Iran opened its airspace just for this.
Two more flights are on the way, including one from Turkmenistan.

Much-needed humanitarian move, say student leaders

Nasir Khuehami from the J&K Students Association thanked both governments for making this happen and said they'll keep working until all vulnerable students are home.
Imran Nabi Dar called it a much-needed humanitarian move that's brought real relief to families.
