Greater Noida residents assaulted after power outage complaint

Residents at Ecovillage-1 in Greater Noida faced a scary situation when they were beaten by security guards and maintenance staff after asking about a power cut that lasted several hours.
Things got out of hand quickly—videos online show residents being punched, kicked, and hit with sticks, even in front of a child.
Some people ended up with injuries like swelling and bruises.

Police arrest 4 maintenance staff members for assault

Police responded soon after the incident, arresting four maintenance staff members—Ravindra, Sohit, Sachin Kuntal, and Vipin Kasana—for assault.
DCP Shakti Mohan Awasthi said action was taken as soon as complaints came in.
Investigators are now looking into what led to this violent outburst over an unresolved blackout.
