Gujarat ambulance fire claims 4 lives, including newborn and medical staff

A heartbreaking accident happened near Modasa, Gujarat early Tuesday when an ambulance caught fire on its way to Ahmedabad.
The tragedy took the lives of a one-day-old baby, his father Jignesh Mochi, Dr. Shantilal Rentia, and nurse Bhuriben Manat.
They were transferring the newborn for further treatment when the fire broke out around 1am.

What we know so far

The ambulance driver and two relatives survived with burns and are being treated in hospital.
CCTV footage shows the driver stopping at a petrol pump after noticing flames at the back.
Police say forensic experts have been called in to find out what caused the fire.
