Gurugram: Police suspect black magic in murder of young girl
A heartbreaking case has emerged near Udepuri village in Gurugram, where the severed head and left leg of a girl, estimated to be between six and 10 years old, were found on November 19.
The discovery came after a local farmer alerted police.
Forensic teams found chopped braids near the spot, and bloodstains were found on the severed parts, which, according to police, could have formed only by pouring blood on them, pointing to a deeply disturbing crime.
Investigation underway; autopsy scheduled
Police believe the girl was killed as part of a black magic ritual, with her body dismembered using a sharp weapon before being dumped.
The murder likely happened three to four days before the remains were found.
Officers have registered a case against unknown suspects and are working with nearby districts to identify the victim and catch those responsible.
An autopsy is set for November 24 to help clarify what happened and which weapon was used.
