Heavy rains predicted in Rajasthan: Met office

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says Rajasthan is in for heavy monsoon rains until early July, thanks to a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal and an active monsoon trough.
While southeastern and eastern areas are getting the heaviest downpours, places like Jodhpur and Bikaner in the west will see lighter showers with occasional heavy spells.

Khanpur recorded highest rainfall in Rajasthan

Khanpur in Jhalawar just saw a whopping 199mm of rain—the highest in the state—while Baran and Kota also got drenched.
This much rain means possible flooding, waterlogging, and travel or farming disruptions, especially in wetter regions.
With July expected to bring even more rain than usual across Rajasthan, it's smart to stay alert if you're living or traveling there.
