To make AMCA a reality, India's DRDO is inviting private aerospace companies to team up and compete, aiming to boost innovation and healthy competition alongside Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
This push fits right into the Make in India vision—strengthening local industry, creating jobs, and reducing reliance on foreign defense imports.
