J&K: Youth run over by train dies in Jammu

In the fourth such incident in J&K this week, a youth in Jammu died after being hit by a train, an official said today. Roshan Lal, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was crossing the railway tracks when he was hit by the train this morning, he said. The body of the deceased was recovered and later handed over to his family for last rites.

Fourth such incident in just five days
This was the fourth such incident in the past five days in Jammu province itself. Two women, including a resident of Chhattisgarh, lost their lives after being hit by trains at separate places in Jammu on Wednesday and Thursday. Later on Friday, a 67-year-old mentally challenged man was crushed to death by a train in Udhampur district in J&K.
