Jammu and Kashmir police station blast: What happened?

India

A sudden explosion hit the Nowgam Police Station in Jammu and Kashmir on the night of November 14-15, leaving nine people dead and 24 injured.
The blast happened while police and forensic teams were checking the building, setting off a fire that damaged several parked vehicles and forced nearby roads to close for safety.

Where did the explosives come from?

Turns out, the explosives traced back to a major raid in Faridabad, Haryana, where police had seized nearly 2,900kg of ammonium nitrate from places rented by Dr. Muzammil Shakil—a doctor whose interrogation led police to an alleged Jaish-e-Mohammed module.
Authorities are still working to identify those who lost their lives, with several injured people in critical condition at local hospitals.
