Kerala cop faces case for allegedly molesting woman colleague

A Senior Civil Police Officer named Navas has been accused of molesting a woman officer at the Nendakara Coastal Police Station in Kollam on November 6.
The incident reportedly happened while she was on duty and heading to the restroom, when Navas allegedly made unwanted physical contact and made abusive comments near the men's restroom.
Quick reporting and official response
The woman officer immediately reported what happened to her superior, who took it up with the Kollam City Police Commissioner.
As a result, a criminal case was registered against Navas for outraging a woman's modesty.
The police have started an internal inquiry, and officials say disciplinary action will follow based on what the investigation finds.
