Kerala government announces bureaucratic reshuffle

Kerala just switched up some key government positions.
M.G. Rajamanickam, back from study leave, is now heading Revenue and Disaster Management, plus a few other major departments like Housing and Food & Civil Supplies.

Kerala government aims to streamline daily life management

By giving Rajamanickam extra responsibilities—including leading the Civil Supplies Corporation and overseeing two big temple boards—the state aims to manage important areas that impact daily life.

Experienced officials placed in key positions

Vinay Goyal will now also run the Kerala Medical Services Corporation.
Mohammed Shafiq takes on an added tax role, while Hima K. moves from medical services to head Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
This reshuffle appears to be about putting experienced hands where they're needed most.
