Kolkata gangrape case: Key evidence recovered

A 24-year-old South Calcutta Law College student was allegedly gangraped on campus, with the incident starting in the student union room and ending in a guard's room.
The main accused, Monojit Mishra, was identified through CCTV footage wearing a red kurta and brown trousers, which police have now recovered as evidence.

TL;DR

Evidence collected from crime scene

Police have seized clothing and electronic devices from Mishra and two other accused—Zaid Ahmed and Pramit—for forensic testing to support the survivor's statement.
The survivor helped police recreate the crime scene; medical reports confirmed injuries like bite marks and scratches. A hockey stick used in the assault and torn hair for DNA testing were also found.
The campus security guard has been arrested for not intervening, while police continue questioning others present that day.
The survivor's family has declined a CBI probe, saying they trust Kolkata Police to handle the case.
