Light showers hit Hyderabad, bringing some relief from humidity

Hyderabad finally got some relief from the sticky weather as light showers hit the city on Saturday.
Khairatabad and Malakpet saw around 11mm of rain, while other neighborhoods picked up between 6-9mm.

Umbrella needed as thunderstorm warning issued for Sunday

The IMD has issued a thunderstorm warning for all of Telangana on Sunday, October 5, so keep an umbrella handy.
Expect cloudy skies, occasional rain or thundershowers, and gusty winds in Hyderabad, with temperatures between 23°C and 32°C.
This wet spell follows Telangana's sixth year in a row of extra-heavy monsoon rains—over 900mm since June for Hyderabad!
These October showers have become more common in recent years and definitely help cool things down after days of humidity.
