    What's the story

Chartered Accountancy (CA) is highly sought-after, given its esteemed status in the professional realm.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) provides the three-level CA program in the country.

Clearing it isn't simple, and many dedicate years preparing to become Chartered Accountants. However, there are some people who have become CAs at quite a young age.

Here are India's five youngest CAs.

    #1

Nischal Narayanam cracked CA exam at 19

Nischal Narayanam of Hyderabad became the youngest person in India to clear the Chartered Accountancy exam in 2015.

He was just 19 when he cracked the CA exam. However, at the time, he couldn't enroll in the ICAI as members are required to be 21.

Notably, he is also the youngest graduate of Hyderabad's Osmania University, where he did his BCom and MCom from.

    #2

Ritu Nolakh, youngest female Chartered Accountant

In 2017, Ritu Nolakh became the youngest female Chartered Accountant.

She was only 19 when she cracked the CA examination, that too in one go. Hailing from the Lunkaransar near Rajasthan's Bikaner, she had reportedly moved to Gujarat's Surat to prepare for CA after finishing school in 2012.

Notably, along with CA, she had cleared two groups of Company Secretaryship at the time.

    Information

#3: Ajay Biwal cleared CA exam at 19

Ajay Biwal is also one of the youngest Chartered Accountants. He cleared the CA exam in 2014 at the age of 19. He is also a Cost Management Accountant and CFA Financial Analyst. He currently works as an account officer at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.

    #4

Aditya Jhawar, youngest person ever to complete CA, CS, CMA

Next on the list is Aditya Jhawar, who became the youngest person ever to clear Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretaryship (CS), and Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) in 2017.

Aditya, who hails from Surat in Gujarat, had achieved the rare feat of completing all these three professional qualifications when he was just 21 (21 years, 8 months, 17 days).

    Information

#5: Amar Kataria, also one of youngest CA, CS, CMA

Amar Kataria of Pune is also one of the youngest persons to complete CA, CS, and CMA (formerly CWA) too. At 21, he cracked the CA Final exam in 2000. He cleared the CS Final in 2001 and CMA Final in 2002.
