Arvind Kejriwal saluted frontline workers
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the countrymen and saluted the frontline workers as India crossed the 100 crore mark in administering COVID-19 vaccine doses on Thursday, saying the pandemic will be defeated unitedly. According to official sources, over 75 percent of India's all eligible adult population has been administered at least the first dose and around 31 percent has received both doses.

The world's largest National Flag made of Khadi fabric has been installed at the Red Fort, New Delhi, to celebrate India reaching the 100 crore vaccination milestone. It has been conceptualized and prepared by Khadi and Village Industries Commission.
WHO Director-General congratulates PM Modi
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the scientists, health workers and citizens of India for equitable vaccine distribution as the total COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country surpassed the 100-crore mark on Thursday.

PM visits Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital
Hailing the vaccination landmark as a triumph of Indian science, enterprise, and collective spirit of 130 crore Indians, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the country has scripted history. The prime minister also visited the vaccination center at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi after the milestone was achieved and interacted with hospital officials, staff, and some of the beneficiaries.

The nationwide vaccination drive began on January 16
India achieved the milestone in 278 days since the nationwide vaccination drive started on January 16. While 74% of the adult population in India have received their first jab, 31% are fully vaccinated. The development comes as India aims to vaccinate all its adult population by the end of 2021.

100 crore COVID-19 vaccination mark set to be surpassed today
India is set to cross the historic 100 crore COVID-19 vaccination mark today. The total vaccine doses administered in the country had crossed 99.54 crore on Wednesday. Around 75 percent of the adult population have been administered the first dose and around 31 percent have received both doses.
