Manipur strike supporters assault 2 policemen
Things turned tense in Manipur as protesters assaulted a senior police officer, Wangkhomba Okramcha, and his team while they were out on patrol. The unrest started after the CBI arrested Asem Kanan Singh, a former head constable and leader of Arambai Tenggol, for allegedly being involved in crimes linked to the ongoing violence since last year.
