Minor Dalit girl abducted, forced to convert in Kerala
A minor Dalit girl from Prayagraj, UP, was allegedly kidnapped and taken to Kerala, where she says she was forced to convert her religion and pushed into terrorist activities.
The case surfaced after her mother filed a police complaint on June 28.
Two people have been arrested so far, including a woman accused of luring the girl with promises of money and stories about other girls converting.
Victim escaped and reached out to police for help
The girl managed to escape in Thrissur, Kerala, and reached out to the police for help.
She told authorities she faced abuse and was pressured into extremist activities while being held captive.
Police are now investigating the case closely and have promised ongoing support for the victim. They're also urging people to report similar incidents to help protect vulnerable communities.
