Minor missing after gang-rape in Madhya Pradesh hospital
A minor girl was allegedly gang-raped inside the ENT department of Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, while she was there to visit her sick mother. The assault reportedly happened overnight on June 8 or early June 9. CCTV footage later showed people moving the girl on a stretcher after the incident, but right now, her whereabouts are unknown.
Victim still untraceable, no formal complaint filed yet
The hospital only reported the case after media stepped in, with police saying management delayed action. So far, two ward boys and a security guard have been detained for questioning. Dr. Saurabh Goyal has received a show-cause notice for not reporting sooner. Police are urging anyone with information—including the victim or her family—to come forward, but no formal complaint has been filed yet. This case highlights growing concerns about safety for minors in India's hospitals and public spaces.
